Hi, as you guys have been noticing, this blog hasn’t been updated as much. I have to tell you, its a lame excuse to say, “I’ve been busy”. I have but, lately, I just haven’t felt it, as if my heart isn’t in it anymore. This blog has been dear to me, and I’ve always … Continue reading
They’re called Fun., and indeed they are. I took notice, like a lot of people, when their latest and really popular hit came out, “We Are Young”. But surely, they aren’t going to stay as a one hit wonder. They’re with three, but with six on tour. Critics describe the band, that is based in New York, as “Indie Rock”. But we’ll see about that. With their second album, they’ve become more and more popular over night. Are they worth their success? Continue reading
I’ve always had a soft spot for Yellowcard, because the way they make music is totally unique. They combine great guitar and drum play, mixed with a violin, and on top of that there is the amazing voice of Ryan Key. They released their sixth album in 2011, which they titled When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes. This was their first record in nearly 3 years, because they went on an indefinite hiatus in 2008. Needless to say I was beyond excited to hear what the new record would sound like. Continue reading

Besides from her twelve albums (MDNA included), she also has some acting and directing skills on her plate. And, we also might want to buy some of her clothes. But lets keep our focus on the music. In more particular, the new album. Continue reading
What do I need to say about the Foo Fighters? They have been around for 15 years, have seen the whole world and created great records. In 2011 they’ve put their selves back on the music radar with a new record called Wasting Light. This resulted in four Grammy awards this year. To create this new disc they went into the studio with Butch Vig and recorded it on analog tape. This has definitely put a stress on the shoulders of the band members, because it had to be done perfectly by the first time. This particular thing made me curious how this new record would sound like. So, are they ready to gain the attention of the audience again? Continue reading
